Roommates Lindsay Pappas, Winnie To, and Kristen Joe lean on recycle bins with Holly Winslow, USF Bon Appétit director (from left to right), at Loyola Village. Pappas, To, and Joe took home the grand prize of $1,000, divided three-ways, on their Flexi accounts.

The donation made by Bon Appétit, as part of the USF Green Team’s Energy Saved = My Conservation2 (E=MC2) challenge.

Pappas, To, and Joe conserved more energy during the fall semester E=MC2 challenge than any other unit in Loyola Village.

Other awards included a $150 gift card from the USF Bookstore, and a yearlong Zipcar membership and one day’s free car rental.

A primary goal of the pilot program was to educate USFers about how much their lifestyle impacts the environment.
